Don't confuse it with the larger, square 9V battery (like the PP3/6LR61), which is a different shape, voltage, and terminal configuration.

The 27A is much smaller and cylindrical with snap terminals on the ends.
If you're replacing one, look for the 27A, A27, or 12V labeling and ensure the physical size and snap terminals match your old battery.
