Drink hot beverages from this cup safely and comfortably, knowing you're not likely to burn your lip on piping hot tea or coffee. My only disappointment was that I had hoped my hot drink would retain its heat longer than it actually did. I've only used this cup once so far, when I've used it more, I'll pay attention more carefully so that I have an actual timeline of how long hot drinks actually stay hot. Gorgeous in person. When we give the kitchen part of our house tour, we always take them out. They seem to cry out to be handled. Hot contents stay hot a lot longer than with single wall anything. They go right into the dishwasher with no trouble at all. Although they look too breakable, which honestly worried me, I can be a klutz sometimes, but they are like lab glass. As anyone who has been in a chem lab knows, lab glass is made to take a licking. ---- Judith

Perfect size for a large, hot beverage. The mug is easy to hold and light weight. Plus after microwaving, liquid is hot,while mug remains cool. Several dishwasher washings have been successful. Read earlier reviews that mugs easily break. So far, that has not been my experience. That said, I have only had the mugs for several weeks. ---- Jill
