    The Hall current sensor is a magnetic field sensor made according to the Hall effect. It has two working modes, open loop (direct) and closed loop (magnetic balance). The advantage of the direct-amplification Hall sensor is that the circuit form is simple and the cost is relatively low; the disadvantage is that the accuracy and linearity are poor, the response time is slow, and the temperature drift is large. In order to overcome its shortcomings, a closed-loop (magnetic balance) Hall current sensor has appeared. The closed-loop Hall current sensor is also known as the zero-flux Hall current sensor. It is composed of a primary circuit, a magnetic ring, and a Hall element. Composed of secondary coils, amplifiers, etc. When the magnetic flux generated by the primary current IP is concentrated in the magnetic circuit through the high-quality magnetic core, the Hall element is fixed in the air gap to detect the magnetic flux, and the reverse compensation current is output through the multi-turn coil wound on the magnetic core. It is used to offset the magnetic flux generated by the primary side IP, so that the magnetic flux in the magnetic circuit is always kept at zero. After processing by a special circuit, the output terminal of the sensor can output the current change that accurately reflects the current of the primary side. The closed-loop Hall current sensor has many advantages such as short response time, high operating frequency, strong overload capacity, and high isolation.

    Due to its many advantages, the Hall current sensor ensures the safe and reliable operation of the inverter product through precise detection and control of large currents, so that the inverter can handle abnormal conditions in time while outputting normally. The reliability of the frequency converter is improved, and the safety quality of the frequency converter is improved. Therefore, the advantages of the Hall current sensor in the inverter are becoming more and more obvious, and it has become an indispensable part of the inverter industry.
